We encourage all prospective parents to attend an Informational Evening and schedule a tour at your earliest possible convenience. The personal understanding you will gain about the experience of integrated studies in our classrooms, as well as the special atmosphere of excitement about learning, will be helpful to you as you plan for your child’s educational future. Tours are conducted every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m. You may also request an admissions packet, which includes an application form, by calling the school. Financial assistance is available, as Chicago Jewish Day School is committed to working with families so that children can take advantage of a CJDS education. In addition to the PSAS application, the Financial Aid Committee requests that you supplement your application with a letter, sent to Chicago Jewish Day School no later than February 5, 2010. This letter should include the following:

• A restatement of the amount of financial aid you are requesting and why.


• An explanation of any extenuating circumstance regarding your financial situation
