Dr. Ellen Cannon
Ellen has been a professor of political science for over 20 years, and a leader and advocate on behalf of Israel and American Jewry. She has served as Vice President of the American Jewish Congress, Midwest Region, and is a faculty member of the Wexner Heritage Foundation. Dr. Cannon served as Commissioner for Jewish Women’s Equality of the American Jewish Congress Midwest Region from 1988 to 1994 and received the Esther Award for Jewish Women’s Leadership. As a national political analyst Dr. Cannon is on the cutting edge in analyzing political issues and explaining how they impact on the Jewish community and Israel. She appears regularly on PBS national radio and is a political feature writer for Crains Chicago Business. Dr. Cannon is a member of the Internal Research Group on Jewish women at Brandeis University sponsored by Hadassah. In addition she is CEO of Cannon Consulting Group, a public policy consulting firm. Dr. Cannon has dedicated herself to fighting for the security of Israel and the safety of world Jewry.
