Neera grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. After spending 2 years working in the brokerage industry in Chicago, Neera moved to New York City where, for the next 10 years, she sold corporate bonds for various Wall Street firms. Neera is married to Michael, a Chicago native, and is the mother of three children, Eliana (Fifth grade), Sophia (Third grade) and Benjamin (First Grade).
