Ann Luban
Ann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Jewish and Near Eastern Studies, and holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts degree in Jewish Communal Service from Hebrew Union College. She is an alumna of both the Wexner Graduate Fellowship Program and the Wexner Heritage Foundation, and is a past recipient of the Samuel A. Goldsmith Award from the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. Ann has taught Adult Education for the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School, Anshe Emet Synagogue, the Dawn R. Schuman Institute and other community institutions. She is currently on the national board of the Jewish Communal Service Association, is the founder and chair of the Jewish Communal Professionals of Chicago and is a past board member and officer of Anshe Emet Synagogue where she was instrumental in founding the Rose Crown Minyan. Ann and her husband, Michael, have a son Marc in Second Grade at CJDS, a daughter Rachel in JK at CJDS and a 2 year old son, Joshua.
