Robert Mednick

Robert (Bob) is a retired managing partner — professional and regulatory matters — of Andersen Worldwide and a former Chairman of the American Institute of CPAs. He is a Senior Vice Chairman and Life Trustee of Roosevelt University and serves on the Boards of Chicago Action for Jews of the former Soviet Union, Maot Chitim and Lake Shore Drive Synagogue. Since retirement from Andersen in mid-1998, Bob has continued to serve on several senior Committees of the AICPA, including the International Strategy Committee, and the International Federation of Accountants, Chairman of Compliance Advisory Panel, as well as on the Board of the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the Accountability Advisory Counsel of the Comptroller General of the United States. He has also done a fair amount of consulting, including for the World Bank, served on two panels arbitrating major business disputes, and taught at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University, Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the College of Management in Rishon Litzion. Bob and his wife, Susie, live in the Gold Coast area and are the proud grandparents of four beautiful grandchildren who are or will be attending Jewish day schools.
