Jonathan is a Principal at Fusion Capital Partners, LLC, a Chicago based investment fund. Prior to joining Fusion, Jonathan helped manage acquisitions and new business ventures for a $400 million successor to a General Motors division. He was also actively involved in private equity investments on behalf of Sam Zell’s Equity Group Investments. Jon has practiced law at Katten Muchin & Zavis, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, securities and venture capital transactions. A graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and a Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude graduate of Brandeis University, Jonathan attended the Solomon Schechter Day School of Chicago and is a graduate of the Ida Crown Jewish Academy. Jonathan and his wife, Cortney, have lived in Lakeview for over a dozen years. He is a past Board Member of Congregation Anshe Sholom where he served on the Executive Committee, and he is currently on the Board of the 3750 Lakeshore Drive Cooperative. Jonathan and Cortney have four children, Alexander (12), Noah (fourth grade at CJDS), Rachel (first grade at CJDS), and Lilian (2).
