L’Dor v’Dor (from generation to generation) is the CJDS Grandparents and Special Friends group. Several special events are held each year to ensure that these incredibly important people in the lives of our students feel part of our school community. Some of those events include Grandparents and Special Friends Day, Grandparent Sukkot event, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten Thanksgiving celebration and the GIFTS (Gratitude, Inspiration, Family, Tzedakah, Service) adult-program. Our grandparents enjoyed a series of these GIFTS classes to help share these values and pass along to the next generation.

The Tzipporah Circle is a leadership group of grandparents who spread awareness and promote CJDS events, connect with the CJDS grandparent community, and raise money for the Annual Campaign.

In addition, grandparents and special friends are always welcome to come for a tour of our new campus and at all school and classroom celebrations to which parents are invited.

For more information on our grandparent programming, please contact Esther Solooki, Director of Annual Giving.
